The business relationship between Geberit Vertriebs AG (hereinafter referred to as “Geberit”) and the Buyer shall be governed exclusively by the following General Terms and Conditions of Geberit (“GTC”) in the version valid at the time of the order. Any deviating terms and conditions of the Buyer shall not be recognised by Geberit unless Geberit has expressly agreed to them in writing.

The contract is only concluded when Geberit accepts your order in the form of an order confirmation, which will be sent to you by email. The offer is only valid while stocks last.

Prices are quoted in Swiss francs per item, including statutory VAT and, where applicable, advance recycling fee. Shipping costs (postage and packaging) are excluded from the price and are based on the following rules: PostPac parcel up to 30 kg consumables, CHF 8.65 (incl. VAT). All parcels dispatched from the factory are always sent with Priority Post, at no extra charge to the customer. Payment must be made by bank transfer to the Geberit account specified on the invoice within 30 days of receipt of the invoice or directly by credit card charge.

Geberit only delivers ordered products within Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Delivery by post takes place immediately after receipt of the order.

Geberit offers risk-free purchasing. You have the right to return the goods within 7 days, provided they are returned in the original packaging and are unused. The item must be returned with prepaid postage to Geberit at the address provided below. If you can prove that the goods delivered were defective, Geberit will cover the cost of rectifying the defect or supplying a replacement. If this proves unsuccessful, you have the right to withdraw the purchase.

You must inspect the goods immediately after delivery. If you find any defects, you must report them to Geberit immediately. For each defect, Geberit will pay to rectify the defect or deliver a replacement. There are no other warranty rights.

We expressly point out that approval requirements abroad may differ from those in Switzerland. If the purchased item is exported, it is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain any required approvals. Geberit accepts no responsibility in this regard.

You have the right to withdraw from your order in accordance with the statutory provisions. If you make use of your right of withdrawal, you must bear the standard costs of returning the goods.

The provisions set out in detail in the following section apply to the right of withdrawal.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods or, in the case of a contract relating to multiple goods ordered by you in one order and delivered separately, with physical possession of the last good. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us Geberit Sales Ltd. Geberit House, Edgehill Drive, Warwick CV34 6NH, email enquiries@geberit.comof your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but is is not obligatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online. If you use this online function, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) with information on the contents of the withdrawal notice and the date and time of its receipt. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expires.

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we you are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will you not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
