Geberit DuoFresh is an innovative way to keep your WC and bathroom fresh by reliably purifying the air without any undesirable side effects. The odour extraction unit, which is integrated into the actuator plate, can be activated either manually or automatically and removes odours directly from the ceramic pan.
The air is extracted via a flush pipe and purified using a ceramic honeycomb filter. It is then sent to a quiet fan, which blows the purified air back into the room.
The Geberit DuoFresh module also features an orientation light and an insert for in-cistern blocks.
It is easy to install in any Geberit Sigma cistern and can be combined with many of the flush plates from the Sigma range.

Automatic start with optional sensor
The optional built-in sensor detects when somebody sits on the WC and automatically activates the odour extraction unit. That means you do not have to switch the odour extraction unit on and off manually.
Alternatively, you can start the odour extraction unit manually via a push button, for example when you turn on the light switch.
Sticks for hygienic cleaning
Cistern tabs help give your toilet an extra burst of freshness.
The Geberit DuoFresh stick is easy to position directly in the cistern by opening the actuator plate from the side, where it releases measured amounts of fragrance and cleaning substances into the flush water. New sticks are quick and easy to add via the insert.
Lighting in the WC
Geberit DuoFresh features an LED orientation light on the actuator plate for night-time use. When you go to the toilet at night, the soft light on the toilet automatically turns on. The orientation light makes it easier to find your way around the bathroom and get back to sleep. You can adjust the light’s duration and intensity via the Geberit Home App.

You can get the Geberit DuoFresh module from your local specialist retailer or showroom. As an electrical connection is required, it must be installed by a professional.

Yes, you can retrofit the module in existing WCs with Geberit Sigma concealed cisterns manufactured from 2008 onwards, provided an electrical connection is available. It is compatible with the Geberit Sigma01, Sigma10, Sigma20 and Sigma50 actuator plates.
How does the Geberit DuoFresh module work in technical terms?
Air is extracted directly from the ceramic pan, purified using an active carbon filter and returned to the room.
What is the difference between manual and automatic actuation?
The difference lies in how Geberit DuoFresh is activated.
With manual actuation, the function is consciously activated by the user. This might be via a push button or a light switch.
With automatic actuation, the function is activated when a person gets close to or uses the WC. A user recognition unit or orientation light provides the activation signal.
You can adjust the settings using the Geberit Home App.
How often do I need to change the filter or sticks?
The active carbon filter for Geberit DuoFresh should be changed once a year to ensure optimum odour extraction. The Geberit Home app or an LED behind the actuator plate will let you know when the filter needs to be changed.
You should replace a Geberit DuoFresh stick as soon as the blue colouring of the flush water or the fresh scent fades away.
