Replacement of floor-standing toilet
1. When replacing a floor-standing WC with a wall-hung WC, the wall behind the toilet must have a minimum height of 110 cm.

2. The water supply connection behind the WC and the drain in the floor can normally be reused. The specific construction situation determines whether the connection is hidden behind the cistern or remains visible.

3. Break open the floor around the drain and cut a 5.5 cm deep groove into the wall to a height of about 30 cm. The special Geberit S-bend is mounted and connected to the existing drain. The depth of the bend can be adjusted. Electricity is needed for the Geberit AquaClean shower toilet. The installation must be checked by the electrician.

4. The floor is shaped and the wall drain brought to their final height. The tiles are then laid, and the wall is plastered and painted.

5. The Geberit Monolith sanitary module can be wall-mounted and connected to the water supply and drain (and possibly electricity). The cistern is only 10.5 cm deep, 48 cm wide and 101 cm high. The Monolith is operated from above for flushing the toilet.

Upgrade with a shower toilet

Wall-hung (or floating) toilets offer several advantages over traditional close-coupled or low-level toilets. Their minimalist design gives bathrooms a modern, sleek appearance. They also make the room appear more spacious and make cleaning easier, improving overall hygiene. When combined with the slim Geberit Monolith, you can replace your existing WC with a wall-hung toilet with minimal effort.

Combining a Geberit Monolith with a Geberit AquaClean shower toilet is an easy way to further enhance your bathroom. As long as an electrical connection is available at your toilet area, installation is quick and straightforward, as Geberit Monolith provides the necessary connections.

A toilet with an integrated bidet function offers numerous benefits. It gently cleans with warm water, improving personal hygiene and enhancing personal well-being throughout the day. They are a great choice for modern bathrooms. The Geberit AquaClean Alba is an affordable entry-level model, offering the essential comfort of a shower toilet.
