Geberit UK Managing Director Mark Larden to Retire After 25 Years
We would like to announce that Mark Larden, Managing Director of Geberit UK and Ireland, has confirmed he will retire on 30 September 2025.
Mark’s career in the bathroom and plumbing industry spans more than four decades, having worked for several leading brands before joining Geberit in 2000. He was appointed Managing Director for the UK and Ireland in 2008 and has overseen a period of significant growth and transformation.
Under Mark’s leadership, Geberit UK has grown into a £100 million business, employing over 150 people across the UK and Ireland. A major milestone during his tenure was the successful integration of the Twyford brand into the Geberit Group, following the acquisition of Sanitec in 2015.
Reflecting on his time at Geberit, Mark said:
“When we entered the UK market in 1999, the brand was virtually unknown. Today, Geberit is recognised as a leading name in concealed cisterns, pressing technology, and shower toilets.
It’s been a real privilege to be part of this journey. Our progress is a testament to the strength of the Geberit brand, the innovations we have brought to market, and, most importantly, the incredible people who have made it all possible.“
“The sense of family and togetherness I felt when I joined Geberit 25 years ago has remained ever since. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some of the most talented and dedicated individuals in the industry, many of whom I now consider friends as well as colleagues.
Without a doubt, it’s the people I’ll miss the most.“
Mark also highlighted innovations such as the Geberit AquaClean Alba, which exemplifies Geberit’s ongoing commitment to bringing high-end design and functionality to every project.
Andy Lever to Succeed Mark Larden as Geberit UK Managing Director
To ensure a smooth leadership transition, Geberit UK has confirmed that Andy Lever, National Sales Director for Projects, will succeed Mark as Managing Director on 1 July 2025. Andy will work closely with Mark during a three-month handover period.
Andy has been with Geberit for 14 years, serving on the Executive Board alongside Mark. Commenting on his successor, Mark said:
“Geberit couldn’t have chosen a better person to take the reins. Andy is incredibly knowledgeable, highly respected across the industry, and well-liked by our customers.
I have complete confidence in him and the leadership team to continue building on the strong foundations we have laid. In many ways, our journey in the UK is just getting started.“
