Q. Why do you have expansion joints in pipe work?
A. We have expansion joints to accommodate expansion and contraction in the pipe work due to changes in temperature, whether it is ambient temperature or from the nature of the discharge through the pipe work.
Q. Can you use automatic air admittance valves externally?
A. No, due to the risk of the mechanism becoming frozen in cold conditions therefore not being able to function correctly.
Q. Do you make a 50mm boss pipe?
A. This connection can be achieved by either using a two-part waste boss or by means of a single bossed pipe connector (ref. 123.4) with a 117 boss adapter.
Q. Do you make a silt /grease trap?
A. No. |

Q. What flush plates fit which Duofix frames?
A. Our 1.12m high frames and concealed cistern (ref. 109.309.00.1) can directly accept the following flush plates: Rumba, Samba, Tango, Twist, Mambo and Bolero. They can also accept the Artline flush plate when used in conjunction with the Artline adapter (ref. 240.962.00.1). The 0.88m and 0.82m high frames and concealed cistern (ref. 110.214.00.1) can only accept the Artline
Q. What pans fit your Duofix frames?
A. At the current time the following pans are compatible with our Duofix frames

Q. Which of the Duofix WC frames and concealed cisterns can you use the pneumatic buttons on?
A: All frames and cisterns are compatible with dual flush or single pneumatic buttons except for the concealed system (ref. 123.137.11.1), which can only use
single flush pneumatic buttons.
Q. How do I gain access to your Duofix cisterns once they are installed?
A. All the components of the cistern can be accessed through the front upon removal of the flush plate. If a pneumatic button is being used then you should use
an access plate on the front of the cistern so that you can still gain access to the components.
Q. Where can I get spare parts locally for the Geberit Impuls 380 side filling valve?
A. The normal route is to go back to where the unit was purchased from, is this is not known then contact Geberit’s Technical Dept who can supply you with the
manufacturer’s number. |
