The Geberit Group’s human resource guidelines highlight the principles for day-to-day managerial and personnel activities. Personnel activities are strongly dependent on the county-specific mentality and the mandate of the company. Therefore, each site formulated its own personnel policies.
The development of the number of employees at the Geberit Group shows continuity and steady growth. Extreme fluctuations in the number of staff are avoided thanks to long-term personnel policies. A large and intensive professional training programme is a solid basis for apprentices. The further training and the development of all employees plays an important role.
A preventive health and safety management increases performance and well-being of the employees. Moreover, employees can participate in the company’s success by purchasing shares at discounted prices. |

Geberit refuses active and passive corruption and is in favour of fair competition. Price agreements or other activities that distort competition are rejected |

Society and Human Rights

Sustainable positive contracts with neighbours and open communication with the public are important. Accordingly, many of the Geberit Group’s companies seek a dialogue with their neighbours and promote social commitment, sports and cultural activities both ideally and materially. Geberit supports, for example, facilities for disabled people by allocating easy assembling and packaging.
Discrimination, child labour and dumping wages are not practiced at Geberit. |
