Geberit opens new Head Office and Training Academy
Geberit has celebrated the move to its new purpose built UK Head Office and Training Academy in Warwick with an official opening ceremony. The event was attended by Mr Bernd Kuhlin, a Member of the Group Executive Board of the Geberit Group and the Mayor of Warwick, Anne Mellor, who together unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion.

The company, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary in the UK, relocated to Warwick from Kent to be closer to customers. The new headquarters (located just off junction 15 of the M40) along with the distribution centre in Wellesbourne, provides a more central location with access to major transport networks.

Designed by Archial Architects and named Geberit House, the building incorporates 12,500 square feet of high specification office space. Taking advantage of the site surroundings, the design maximises daylight whilst controlling solar gain and provides a light, pleasant working environment. They assisted Geberit in obtaining a BREEAM rating of 'Very Good' for the building.

The new £2.5 million building at Warwick will be the centre piece and focal point for all Geberit's training activities.

Mark Larden, UK Managing Director comments, "the new Geberit Training Academy offers superior, specialist training opportunities with robust and technologically advanced facilities, including a two-storey hydraulic tower demonstrating plumbing practice and a practical workshop for hands-on experience, for all our customers and their customers".
