Following my degree in Media Production at Lincoln University, I worked in a PR and Marketing consultancy servicing some major UK, International and Global Companies. In 2008, I joined Geberit as Assistant Product Manager, Sanitary where I planned and implemented the introduction of new products into the UK market, carried out all product training to staff and worked closely on our Retail Objective providing all the Marketing Communication tools.
When I joined, Geberit concepts were new to the UK and I wanted to be a part of the wall-hung revolution! It was clear to see that Geberit was an exciting company with fantastic prospects, hence why I moved from Kent to Warwick after only being employed with them for 6 months. From Product Management I moved to Marketing Communications where my responsibilities included planning and implementation all B2B activities across the company such as managing production of all media advertising, product and company publicity, printed brochures and catalogues, and the creation of the website. I was also responsible for the policing of our Corporate Design Manual to ensure the Geberit brand was consistent through all materials.
From the 1st October 2015 I again took on a new role here at Geberit and am now Consumer Marketing Manager leading the marketing strategy for Geberit within the retail channel and consumer market.
To work for a company who heavily invests in product research and development makes for an exciting and rewarding Marketing career. What I enjoy the most about my work at Geberit is engaging, communicating and most importantly inspiring our customers about Geberit and our products - and working with Geberit provides a wealth of material for me to do this!
