As service providers for customers and for the Geberit Group, the Logistics department has an important role to play. It provides essential support to the success of both the brand and the Company through consistently high delivery capability and performance. Based in the Group area of Products, our department monitors, coordinates and operates the logistics processes and activities along the entire supply chain. Group Logistics is responsible for all customer deliveries in more than 100 countries.
350 employees are active at our main logistics sites in Pfullendorf and Langenfeld in the areas of procurement logistics, purchasing, intralogistics, distribution logistics, transport management and administration. Our projects are both demanding and diverse. These include automation and the improvement of internal processes, the implementation of an extra-long goods strategy and permanent optimisation of business processes with our customers. Quality, reliability and flexibility are top priorities for meeting our customers' demands. That is why our teams are staffed by highly qualified and motivated employees. The diversity in our domain requires that our staff members possess a wide variety of certifications in logistics, operations planning, control technology, master's training for logistics, business administration for forwarding management and logistics services, warehousing logistics or industrial management. They have Bachelor of Arts degrees in business management, transport, logistics or any other relevant industry.
